Thank you to all the businesses and customers who supported the Totally Locally Magic Tenner event which, despite the quick turnaround to get everything in place, was incredibly successful with over 40 independent local traders taking part. There was a definite buzz around the town with some great feedback of increased trade and happy shoppers, with many of us discovering businesses we never even knew existed.
The next magic tenner event will be in October as we link into the Totally Locally national campaign. In the meantime we all still need to continue to raise awareness that…
…. if every adult in Tadcaster spent just £10 per week with our independent traders it would be worth a massive £2.5 million to the local economy!
Some traders are continuing to put on £10 special offers to make this easier for people and get the message across.
